Reflection about the implementation of the project 

The first thing that I want to say is that it was a challenge for me to implement this classes, because even though I am an English teacher and I have done CLIL before it was the first time that I did science in English with the groups that I had chosen. 

First I implemented the 3rd grade sessions. When I started I realised that some of the activities that were meant to be done autonomously weren't possible so I changed them into whole group activities. With the help of all the group they could work better. A part from that, the sessions have been very fruitful and the students have enjoyed them a lot because usually they don't have any Science class in 3rd grade.

Then I started with the sixth and fifth students. They are more used to do Science classes so it was much easier to work with them. They were really engaged as the result of the project was something that was part of a school project so,  it had visibility.  The first session worked really well, what they liked the most was the grouping activity. They understood the text well with the help of the dictionary provided. The final product, the written text, was good and even though they nedeed some extra help a part from the example sentences given, they enjoyed very much explaining them to their classmates. They also valued a lot the possibility not only to correct their classmates works but also to have tools to improve their own work. 

In general my opinion is that the students enjoyed it a lot and so I did. They find it useful and they like a lot  the way in which the contents and language are presented and worked.
